FN Research has now been trading for 2 years. During this time the company has grown to a full service research agency and can now offer on-line, telephone and face-to-face methodologies plus groups and one to one depths.
The last 2 years have been amazing. The road to entrepreneurship has been a steep learning curve, but I have loved every minute of it.’ Stated Fiona Norman, Managing Director.

She goes on to say ‘My clients have constantly presented me with new challenges, affording me the opportunity to practice my ethos of developing innovative and creative research based solutions. I always ensure my clients and their needs are at the heart of every project and as a result most of my current clients are repeat customers’.We have been involved with some fascinating projects over the last 24 months including designing a ground breaking model to segment on-line audiences for NMNI using qualitative methodologies. This is the first of its kind in the UK museums sector.

Pamela Baird from NMNI said ‘The outcomes have been excellent and well received across the organisation. Feedback following a presentation and workshop has been extremely positive. Fiona’s presentation of the results was thoroughly engaging and we received complete buy-in from the various teams across the organisation.’

There has also been a growing trend towards website evaluations and to facilitate this need FN Research has developed a mobile weblab facility delivering several such projects for high profile local clients in the past few months.
Another recent project of particular interest for an international FMCG company included a series of ethnography depths with mothers of young babies. This provided valuable insight for the client marketing team who attended all of the depths and experienced a day in the life of a young mum, bottles, nappies and all!

And finally …. Following this initial success over the last 2 years, FN Research has now become a limited company, trading as FN Research Limited from the beginning of April 2013. We look forward to the next 2 years and all the challenges it brings
